One of our primary services to our customers is to serve as a guide and lookout through the sometimes dangerous online world. We've all seen or heard news reports about computer viruses and malware set to wreak havoc on what's become critical infrastructure for our economy. Most of the issues reported in the big news stories have, fortunately, had much less impact than anticipated; however, there are dozens or hundreds of attacks which never make it into the mainstream media. At Intersites, we monitor the security reporting mechanisms on the Internet and, if we find an issue we believe is important or will impact our customers, we will report it here, in the Alerts! category of our Suite 131 blog.
