September Progress!

Our marketing and re-branding effort is well underway. We've completed our client interviews. Thanks to everyone who participated; we appreciate your time very much. Our next step is an analysis of our competitors and the overall market. With a renewed understanding of them, we'll then spend a couple weeks to formulate the best way to stand out and serve you better.

QR codes are a hot topic. QR codes look like a Pong game gone wrong. They are the squares you are beginning to see on everything from magazine ads to For Sale signs in front of homes. They are usually black and white, though as you can see from the QR code here, they can be other colors. We are creating QR codes for several clients. The really cool thing about the way we're creating the codes is we set up the image so it appears in your Google Analytics or other website tracking system. We're also seeing a lot of interest in mobile-friendly websites.. A "mobile-friendly website" is one which looks good on a mobile device like a smartphone or tablet. You can easily tell if a site is mobile-friendly. Simply visit the site on your phone or tablet. If the site appears tiny and you have to zoom to see and read the articles, it is not mobile-friendly! Good mobile-friendly sites typically have other characteristics, including fewer images, slightly modified navigation, and faster access to contact info, especially your phone number. A major benefit of mobile-friendly sites is they are usually a fraction of the cost of a full-blown mobile app. If Intersites built your site, we can usually create a basic mobile-friendly version in two days or less. On the new project front, we recently launched two sites.

ExergameFitness.com is a site we rebuilt for Motion Fitness in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. Exergame is a national leader in the growing market of game-based fitness equipment. They wanted to update their site so it was easier to navigate, was better organized, search engine optimized and simply presented a better overall image of Exergame. Motion Fitness is excited about the new site we designed and built and we're proud of our work. Take a look and let us know what you think.

1to1cls.com is a brand new site for Internet Teaching Systems in Bradley, Illinois. 1to1cls.com is the brainchild of a leader in the education field. The idea behind 1to1cls.com is to offer tools and materials to the growing market of K-12 students and educators using mobile, tablet, and netbook computers. We worked with ITS to take their idea and concepts and bring them to life in a working website. Now that the site is launched, we're helping with the marketing and the analytics to measure our progress.
